I am so glad you found me! Often within the therapy world, there are so many options for therapists, it’s really difficult to find the right fit. And fit is everything. My hope is that this page will offer a glimpse into who I am, what I bring, and how I can help you.

Professionally, I received my PhD in Counseling Psychology from Brigham Young University which is an accredited APA institution. I have been fully licensed as a psychologist for over 15 years. I have had the privilege of working with a variety of populations which have included Native Tribes, veterans, University students, faith-based populations, incarcerated individuals, those in Recovery, and everyone in between. My work has taken me from Alaska, across the West, and now to Virginia where I provide telehealth and in person options for treatment and testing. I have been a Certified Group Psychotherapist through AGPA, and international organization who provides excellent group therapy training. I’ve served in many roles during my licensure, including therapist, supervisor, Training Director, Assessment and Group Coordinator, tenured University professor, and Chief Behavioral Health Officer. I am excited for this next stage of my professional where I am able to provide tailored services to those seeking therapeutic help. You can check out my clinical experience in more detail here.

Personally, I identify as a cisgender male (he/him), who is a member of the Choctaw Tribe of Oklahoma. I am married to the most amazing woman I’ll every know, and we have 5 kiddos, 2 of whom are adults living their best lives. We have two dogs and some horses too. I enjoy the outdoors through hiking, camping, and fly fishing. I am also a nerd who enjoys dungeons and dragons, finding obscure board games to bring home to the family, and am an X File fanatic. I am always up for an adventure, especially with my family. My personal faith and my Native heritage are very important parts of my identity and I am grateful for the many people who have guided me on my life path. I am happy that our paths have crossed!
